Saving together should never require blind trust

Ilè Àjo is built for rotating savings circles everywhere — where community meets verified infrastructure.

What is Ilè Àjo?

Ilè Àjo is a digital platform for rotating savings circles — groups of people who contribute on a fixed schedule and take turns receiving the pooled amount.

Communities worldwide have used this model for generations: stokvels, susus, tandas, chit funds, and informal circles of friends and colleagues. The culture works. The infrastructure often does not.

We are building Ilè Àjo so the rules of the circle are enforced by the platform — escrow, verified identity, direct debit mandates, and transparent records — not by whoever holds the cash.

People have always saved together

Rotating savings circles are one of the oldest financial habits in the world. Neighbours, coworkers, and families pool money so everyone gets a turn — no bank loan required.

Why we are building this

“The savings circle is one of humanity's best ideas. We are giving it the infrastructure it always deserved.”

We started Ilè Àjo because we saw people abandon a system that works — not from greed, but from fear. Fear that someone would run. Fear that records would vanish. Fear that one missed payment would destroy a friendship.

Our founders believe rotating savings should scale globally: same trust within the group, same protection as a regulated product. That is the world Ilè Àjo is building toward.
