How is Ilè Àjo different from traditional informal circles?
Same savings culture — but money never sits in one person’s pocket and rules are enforced automatically.
The problem with cash-based circles
In many informal circles, one person collects contributions and distributes payouts. That works when everyone is honest — but one bad actor can disappear with the entire pool. Disputes are settled by arguments, not records.
What Ilè Àjo changes
Contributions go into regulated, insured escrow through licensed payment partners — not into an organizer’s personal account. Payouts are sent only to verified bank accounts in each member’s name. Every debit, credit, and payout is logged on the platform.
The organizer still matters — but cannot steal
Circle creators set amounts, slots, and schedules. They cannot withdraw member funds. Their role is coordination and communication, while the platform handles collection, escrow, and verified payouts.
