How do direct debit mandates work?
You approve a recurring debit once; the platform collects each round automatically.
What you authorize
A mandate is your permission for Ilè Àjo to debit your linked card or bank account for the circle’s fixed contribution amount on each round’s schedule. You review and approve before it becomes active.
Automatic collection
Each round, the platform initiates the debit without you needing to transfer manually. This removes the “I forgot to pay” problem that derails informal circles.
Managing mandates
From Payments you can view active and expired mandates, see upcoming debits, and update your linked account. You stay in control — but the circle does not depend on your memory every month.
