What happens if I miss a contribution?
You are notified immediately. Retries and trust score updates follow.
Immediate notification
If a scheduled debit fails — insufficient funds, expired card, or bank issue — you receive an alert right away. The circle admin and affected members can see that the round is incomplete.
How to fix it
Open Payments, retry the failed debit, or link a different account. Once your contribution clears, the round can proceed to payout for the member whose turn it is.
Repeated misses
Occasional failures happen. Repeated missed debits lower your trust score and may restrict joining new circles until your record improves. This protects other members from carrying someone who consistently defaults.
